On Sunday, July 1, the pulpit of the First United Methodist Church will be filled by its new pastor, the Reverend Dan Harrington. He comes to San Saba from Austin where he has served as Associate Pastor at Manchaca First United Methodist Church. Rev. Harrington graduated from Appalachian State University in Boone, North Carolina and Austin Presbyterian Theological Seminary. Rev. Harrington's grandfather was a Methodist minister.Dan and his wife, Maria , have two children. Lyla who is nearly three years old and eight month old Jonah. They will be moving into the parsonage on Thursday, July 28, and are looking forward to being a part of the San Saba community.
