Eddie Edwards has received notification that he has been inducted in the Rock-A-Billy Hall of Fame from Nashville, Tennessee. Eddie played in Tommy Sands band from 1957 to 1959, and toured all over the United States and Canada, Hawaii, Australia, New Zealand and Tasmania, and appeared at the Hollywood Bowl, the Coconut Grove, the Waldorf Astoria, and many, many more. He also appeared on the Perry Como TV Show, and the Milton Berle TV Show.The Raiders Group consisted of Eddie Edwards on rhythm guitar, Leon Bagwell on stand up bass, Scotty Turner on lead guitar, and Hal Blaine on drums. Mr. Edwards was very surprised and honored to receive this induction Award.
