Former White House National Security Advisor to speak in San Saba

Dr. Del Tackett, chief spokesperson for "The Truth Project," a nationwide initiative designed to bring the Christian worldview to the body of Christ is coming to San Saba's First Baptist Church, June 24 - 27. Dr. Tackett served more than 20 years in the United States Air Force. During the George W. Bush administration, he served at the White House, where he was appointed by President Bush as the director of technical planning for the National Secuitry Council. Dr. Tackett has published a variety of written works including articles in Focus on the Family magazine that address worldview and cultural issues. He has had several technical articles and manuals published by the U.S. Air Force. Dr. Tackett will be at San Saba's First Baptist Church to explore the question, "What is truth?" and address topics such as American Christian heritage and Christian worldview. Below is a schedule of events to be held at San Saba's First Baptist Church located at 208 W. Wallace Street in San Saba. Sunday, June 24: 9:15 a.m., Combined Sunday School, 10:30 a.m., Worship Service, 4:45 p.m., Supper catered by Underwood's Cafeteria, 6:00 p.m., Service.

Monday, June 25: 6:00 p.m., Service with ice cream floats to follow.

Tuesday, June 26: 6:00 p.m., Service with pie to follow.

Wednesday, June 27: 11:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m., Q&A Luncheon (by reservation), 6:00 p.m., service with watermelon to follow.
