Stewart Reunion held June 9 and 10

The descendants of James Washington Stewart and Hattie Augusta Mallett Stewart held their annual reunion on June 9 and 10, 2012 in San Saba. A group of 35 met at the home of Doris Cates on the 9th for hamburgers and home made ice cream. The Senior Center was the scene for the covered dish luncheon on the 10th. After lunch, a hand made queen size quilt was raffled to fund the 2013 reunion; Joyce Sanderson was the winner of the quilt. The 2013 reunion will be June 8 and 9 at the same places.

Many enjoyed the beautiful Mill Pond Park for picture taking.

There were some unable to attend the reunion since they were here two weeks prior for the funeral of the Stewart's daughter, Frances Parks.

Those present on Sunday were: Nancy and Don Doyle, Gary Doyle and Jason Dobbs of Breckenridge; Don and Lynn Doyle of San Leon; Leon and Nancy Stewart of Mansfield; Jack and Pat Stewart of McKinney; Jack Jr., Johanna, Mason and Brady Stewart of Llano; Tana Roark of Drasco, Arkansas; Cheyenne, Ty and Andrew Roark of Concord, Arkansas; John, Sandra and Kelsey Whitlatch, Willie, Ashley and Calleigh Roy of Robinson; Gerald Kinder and Ramona Siebenmann of Waco; Andrew Wiggins of Dallas; Wanda Wallace and Bonnie Howell of Comstock; Joyce Sanderson and J.D. Adkins of Buchanan Dam; Dewey Hulme of Jarrell; Betty and Jimmie Lee Townsend, Beth, Tad and Taylor Rhyan of Burnet; Mrs. Rynan of Sun City; Roy Taylor of Lampasas; and Justin, Jill and Aiden Wimberley of Sweeny.

Those from San Saba were: Donald and Sandra Parks; Larry and Ryan Parks; Laura, Julia and Daila DeWitt; Ronald , Janet and Corey Sanderson and Doris Cates.
