Drug raid on East Storey Street

On Monday, the 11th, in the early morning hours a narcotics search warrant was executed by the San Saba Sheriff's Office. The residence located at 607 E. Storey Street in San Saba was the target of the search warrant and three individuals were arrested at the location.

Alejandro (Alex) Jimenez, 40 and his brother Jose Jimenez, 45, both of San Saba were arrested for manufacturing and/or delivery of a controlled substance (Methamphetamine) >1 gram but <4 grams with additional charges pending. Christine Michelle Potts, 31, of San Saba was also arrested for possession of a controlled substance (Methamphetamine) <1 gram.

Sergeant John Wilkerson, Deputy Chase Stiles, Deputy James Barrows and San Saba Patrol Officer David Nobles conducted the raid, and Chief Ray Riggs assisted with the search and it was very successful.

Sheriff Brown stated that Methamphetamine packaged for delivery, marijuana and over $3,000.00 cash along with numerous items of drug paraphernalia consistent with the use and/or sale and delivery of illegal narcotics were removed from the residence. Sheriff Brown also stated that the investigation is still ongoing at this time and thanked everyone involved for their assistance and hard work. Brown also wanted to remind everyone that those arrested are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
