Nth Degree Productions to provide a vehicle and performers for Republic of Texas Rally

San Saba based film and television production company Nth Degree Productions will provide performers and a special prop vehicle for the Republic of Texas Motorcycle Rally in Austin, TX. June 7th to 10th , 2012. The theme for this years rally is “Thunderdome” and the official photo booth will feature film-style models and a “Post-Apocalyptic” dune buggy prepared by Nth Degree.This is the first major project for Nth Degree Productions after the tragic loss of president Linda Mixon to cancer earlier this year. They have been gradually ramping up operations, rebuilding and now taking on this project with the largest motorcycle rally in Texas. Christian Mixon has taken over as President, and Ft. Worth multi-media artist / costume designer Kelsey Moore has come aboard as artistic director.“The R.O.T. rally is an amazing opportunity, the theme allows a great deal of creativity and innovation in the set and vehicle. We have the opportunity to showcase our work in a venue with a projected 50,000 attendees.” said Mixon. In addition to the buggy, Nth Degree will be providing costumed performers to promote the “Barter Town” area of the event. Nth Degree will be working closely with Artstrada Magazine publisher Patrick LaBay, and the crew from Juju Photo Factory LLC to make the project a success.The Republic of Texas Biker Rally (ROT Biker Rally) is the biggest motorcycle rally in Texas and one of largest motorcycle events in the U.S. Enthusiasts come enjoy the amazing motorcycles, the Austin nightlife and of course the beautiful Texas women. The ROT Rally expects more than 50,000 participants in 2012, and will draw over 200,000 spectators to the downtown streets of Austin during the Friday Night of ROT. The attractions out at the Travis County Expo Center include a ride in bike show, custom bike builders, The World Famous Wall of Death, Comedians, national named bands, The Paradise Bar, a tattoo expo, contests for the ladies, stunt riders, 350 vendors and distributors, the ROT Rally Friday night parade and more. The Guinness Book of World Records certified the ROT Parade as the “Longest Parade of Motorcycles.”Nth Degree Productions put all projects on standby two years ago, and they are now returning to a full production schedule. In addition to event video projects, Nth Degree has a feature length horror film and a documentary called “Morrison’s Mustang” on the production slate.
