The CIA from the Baptist Church attended Centri-kid at Sherman, Texas last week. They reported having a good time.

Kevin and Mary Randolph from Comanche visited in Cherokee on Saturday. Jaze had gone to Centri-kid and spent a week with Richard and Jerry Randolph.

Cherokee Indian Midnight Madness will start at 10:00 p.m. on Sunday, August 3. Pep Rally will start at 11:45 p.m. Football practice will begin at 12:00 midnight followed by 6-on-6 scrimmage. All fans are invited. They will have games, music and food.

Marvin Foster was laid to rest last Tuesday at the Gray cemetery. We extend our sympathy to Pat and family.

Keith Davis, Victor Cross and Chris Perry spent last week at College Station. They were attending fireman school. Kristy and Hank joined Chris on Wednesday.

Richard Randolph spent a couple of days in Llano Hospital.

John Altizer had knee surgery in Seton last week. After a few days in rehab, he is home. He seems to be doing real good. Please drop your news off at Cherokee Grocery or send it to sroad@centex.net
