Dena Jean Bible went home to be with the Lord May 31, 2012 at 3:45 PM. She has been reunited with her parents, Martin and Maurine Banks of Blanco. She is survived by her siblings, Lyn and Becky Banks of New Braunfels, Lynda and Gary Bauman of Valley Springs, Fred Banks of Blanco, David and Joanne Banks of Staples, Debby and Le Waits of Dripping Springs, and Craig and Lanae Banks of Dripping Springs. She will be watching over her husband, Ronnie Bible of Richland Springs, her children, Randy Bible of Kingsland, Rhonda and Jason Waits of Johnson City, and Amanda and Adam Lehmann of Kingsland as well as her grandchildren, Britny Lehmann, Janis Lehmann, Riddley Bible, Lee Lehmann, Aidan Bible, Raymond Waits, and Jamison Waits.Dena was such a loving soul who touched many hearts even right up to her departure. Dena and Ronnie lived a simple life out in the country. She enjoyed handcrafting wood, but nothing could compare to the joy she got out of being a grandmother. She loved to joke and play. Family was the most important thing in her life and she lived well.Visitation was Sunday, June 3, 2012 at Crofts Funeral Home in Johnson City where funeral services were held at 2:00 PM Monday, June 4. Interment followed in Miller Creek Cemetery.In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the North Blanco Co. EMS or to the Johnson City Volunteer Fire Department.
