Commissioners hold regular meeting May 29th

The San Saba County Commissioners Court was held on Tuesday, May 29 th at 9:00 a.m. in the County Judge’s Chambers. County Judge, Byron Theodosis, called the meeting to order and welcomed everyone to the Court. Commissioner, Rickey Lusty, gave the invocation followed by everyone joining for the pledges to the American andTexas flags.The Commissioners took action on the following items:1. Approved the placement of 45 MPH speed limit signs on dangerous county road areas.2. Approved prohibiting certain fireworks in unincorporated areas of San Saba county.3. Accepted the bid from Parsons Commercial Roofing, Inc. to repair the roof of the Courthouse Annex to be paid with the SECO Stimulus Grant.4. Discussed the Historical Commission Emergency Funds awarded to San Saba County for the Courthouse roof repair.5. After discussion, no action was taken to lift the Burn Ban which was placed on May 14th.6. The Accounts Payable were approved.7. The next Commissioners Court will be Monday, June 11th at 9 a.m.Judge Theodosis adjourned the Court. Attending Court were the following: County Judge, Byron Theodosis; County Commissioners, Pat Pool, Rickey Lusty, Otis Judkins; Administrative Assistant, Cathi Miles; Chief Deputy, Bill Price; County Clerk, Kim Wells; Attorney David Williams; County Coordinator, Marsha Hardy; JOP Judge, Les Dawson; San Saba News & Star Reporter, Alice Smith.
