Pam and John Starr, residents of Richland Springs, would like to announce the engagement of their daughter, Sarah Elaine Starr, to Michael Chad Locker, son of Mark and Kim Locker of Richland Springs.The prospective bride is a graduate of LBJ High School of Johnson City and a 2012 graduate of Texas A&M. Sarah plans to work in a sports medicine clinic in Abilene.The prospective groom is a graduate of Richland Springs High School and attended Tarleton State University. Michael is currently a Tech III Field Specialist for GE Wind Energy Division.The prospective bride is the granddaughter of Elaine Foster formerly of Johnson City and current resident of Richland Springs. She is also the granddaughter of the late David Foster of Richland Springs, and Naudain and Thelma Starr of Fredericks-burg.The prospective groom is the grandson of Quietta Maultsby of San Saba and the great grandson of Bertha Griffay of San Saba. He is also the grandson of the late Maynard and Patsy Locker of Hall Valley and Kenneth Maultsby of San Saba.The couple is planning the wedding for June 22 at the First Baptist Church of Richland Springs.
