On Wednesday, May 23rd around 5:30 p.m., a two vehicle crash occurred on Hwy 45 just north of FM 765. Emergency units from San Saba County, Mills County and Brown County responded to assist with the scene.Two of those injured had to be extracted from the vehicles by fire departments working on scene, with all three being transported to area hospitals. Cathy Lehman, age 46 of Brownwood, Texas was transported by helicopter to Scott & White where she is now listed in stable condition. Jessica Sims, 17 years of age of Mullin, Texas was transported by helicopter to Scott & White, treated and released the next day. A juvenile female also of Mullin, Texas was also injured, transported by ambulance to Brownwood Hospital and then transferred to Cook Children's Hospital in Fort Worth and is still there as of press time`. Texas Department of Public Safety Troopers are still investigating the crash and have yet to release their findings.
