Receipts totaled 1113 head for the week. The numbers were reduced due to the 3 to 5 inches of rain that the Central Texas area had over the past week. Demand was strong on all classes of cattle this week after last week’s advance. Stocker steers and heifers all sold steady with some choice calf crops that were weaned sold $2 to $3 higher. Feeder steers and heifers were steady. Packer bulls were $5 higher with the top bull at $121 weighing 2025 lbs and packer cows were $4 higher with the top cow at $97 weighing 1505 lbs.
