Once a little boy asked his mom what was meant by the song that they sing at church: When the roll is called up yonder, I’ll be there. The mother compared the Heavenly Roll-call to that of his school, when the teacher calls the roll. When we get to heaven, and the roll is called, we’ll be there. The song goes on and says we shall His resurrection share. We will be raised to be with Christ forever in His glory. The song also says let us labor for our Master from the dawn till the setting sun, let us talk of all His wondrous love and care, and when our work on earth is done, and the roll is called up yonder, I’ll be there.We want to be among the chosen ones to share His glory and dwell in heaven forever.
