Get ready for the “San Saba Pecan Bottom Concert Series!” The second one is this Saturday, May 12, 2012 at Risien Park and admission is free! Gates open at 7:00 p.m. with handmade hamburgers from Bon Ami, Texas wine from Fiesta Winery, Texas micro-brewed beer from the Bar D Brewhouse, and pecan delights from Oliver Pecan with a 40 x 40 dance floor. Then at 8:00 p.m. on the city stage, it’s Texas music artist & KWTX TV 10 anchorman “Gordon Collier.” You will remember the Gordon Collier band as performers during last year’s “Pecan Jam.” The Gordon Collier Band has become the hottest, most requested band in Central Texas. No coolers, please. This concert series is intended to get you ready for the “San Saba River Pecan Jam” festival on October 20, 2012. There’s a party in the pecan bottom...for the whole family!
