The Mustang Heritage Foundation gave the San Saba High School Equine Science class a chance to participate in their Youth Program. The Youth Program gives younger people a chance to connect with the Mustangs and their legends. The Mustang Heritage Foundation wants to get the word out about American Mustangs and would like more people to know about these horses and how they need more support.
“This program has been interesting. I have gotten to learn so much more about the American Mustang. I have learned more about the history and where they came from. I also learned more about how people are trying to help these horses, and giving them land to live on. The Mustang Heritage Foundation has increased the amount of Mustang adoptions, and it would be great if you have the ability and supplies to adopt one of these beautiful horses because they need all the help they can get.” -Erin Edmondson
“This entire experience while working on all these projects have really been inspiring to me. It taught me so much more than I already knew. I really enjoyed this experience that I had been offered. The Mustang Heritage Foundation is a great program to join and help save Mustangs. It really touched me to get to know all about these amazing creatures while working for the Mustang Heritage Foundation. -Paige Chambers
