San Saba High School FCCLA competes at State
Thursday, April 26, 2012 • Posted April 26, 2012

April 12 - 14,San Saba High School FCCLA students competed and worked for three days in Dallas at the Anatole Hotel. Students also had the opportunity to listen to great motivational speakers, had a concert and a dance and of course lots of fun.

Students worked at least one day at competition as a door monitor, runner, or time keeper for events that they were not competing in. This was a great way for students to learn about other events and to see how the competition is ran and gave a different perspective for what judges are looking for as well. We had 5 teams compete at state and three of the five placed at state. Mrs. Alesha Rogers, FCCLA advisor at San Saba, said "...all the teams worked really hard and I was very proud of all their hard work and dedication."

FCCLA will be hosting their annual banquet on May 1st at the San Saba High School cafeteria to recognize and award all the students for their achievements this year.
