Cherokee FFA competes in Area Career Development Events

Last week the Cherokee FFA participated in the Area Career development Events. The teams did very well for their first time and placed in the top 10 in Area 7. The Wildlife team consisting of Ryan Breadner, Stephen Auster-man,Barbra Uribe and Paco Shannon traveled to San Angelo. The students must be able to identify all plant species that wildlife eat, Habitat evaluation, Habitat mng., Biological facts, plant preference,Skull and hide identification,Safety,Game laws and Techniques. The Horse judging team consisting of Talli Morrison, Lauryn Tatch and Emily Skaggs traveled to College Station. The all girl team placed horses in two Halter classes, Hunt Seat Equitation, Western Horsemanship, Reining and Answered questions on horse facts and classes.
