Keep San Saba Beautiful along with ATMOS announces, "Mill Creek Clean-Up Day", Saturday, April 21, 2012 from 8:00 a.m. to noon. Keep San Saba Beautiful has been an affiliate of Keep Texas Beautiful for four years.All groups, individuals and organizations in the city/county are invited to meet at 8:00 a.m. at the County Courthouse. All volunteers that sign up are guaranteed an original grabber and gloves. Areas in town which need cleaning and improvements will be identified and teams sent out to those areas.Following the clean-up, teams will return to the Courthouse at noon for lunch which will be provided by ATMOS.The transfer site will also be open from 8:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. to accept all household trash for San Saba county residents (no hazardous waste, tires, building materials, etc.) free of charge.This is a great opportunity to clean up around your house and get rid of those items that have been sitting around gathering dust. Trash bags, gloves and vests will be provided. This is a great opportunity to be involved in our community in our efforts in making our city beautiful.
