The Cowboy Cemetery Association will hold their annual workday and meeting at the Historic Cemetery on Saturday, April 21, 2012. Members and interested parties are asked to bring their own tools and to wear work clothes. A barbecue lunch will be provided by the association at 12:00 noon. The association will provide the ice, food, plates, eating utensils and condiments. Attendees are asked to please bring desserts and drinks. A business meeting will be held after the meal with the election of our president and one director. Any one is welcome to help. The cemetery is located northeast of Placid off Farm Road 1028 near the San Saba County line. A sign indicating the location of the cemetery is placed at the turn-off to the cemetery.
