The 74th Annual San Saba County Professional Rodeo is scheduled for June 1st and 2nd and the Rodeo Parade is returning to the 5:00 p.m. time on opening day of the rodeo. This year's theme is RETRO: Remembering the Good Old Days and it is the hope of the Parade Chairman, Sandy McHorse, that every business, club, bicycle and motorcycle group, church, golf cart owner, cowboy and cowgirl, whether original or drugstore, will participate. There will be new divisions offered, since it's very hard for a decorated car to compete with elaborate floats. There will also be new divisions for mounted riders, to be announced later. So shine the spurs, polish the boots, wash the cars and build the floats. Let's make the 2012 San Saba County Rodeo Parade a return to the past glory days!
