Travis D. Owens, longtime co-owner of Key Auto Supply in Lampasas, died March 19, 2012, at Cornerstone Hospital in Austin. He was 56.Funeral services were March 23 at 10 a.m. at First Baptist Church in Lampasas with Dr. Rick Willis officiating. Burial was at Oak Hill Cemetery.Mr. Owens was born November 15, 1955 in Dumas, to LeRoy M. and Betty Tankersley Owens. He grew up in Texas and graduated from Lampasas High School.Mr. Owens was a member of the First Baptist Church. He married Regena Porter on August 6, 1977 in Lampasas.Travis was co-owner of Key Auto Supply for 27 years.Survivors include his wife of Lampasas; a daughter, Courtney Owens-Ramp and husband, Leo, of Lampasas; a son, Travis Keith Owens of Abilene; his father and wife, LeRoy and Frances Owens of Lampasas; two sisters, Sherry Porter of Lake Jackson, and Trisa Smith and husband, Jerry, of Lampasas; and three grandchildren, Kadin Dean Owens-Ramp, Cameron Ramp and Kaylie Ramp.Travis was proceeded in death by his mother.
