On Saturday, March 24, 2012, Alan Hale of San Saba competed at the State Meet in the 165lb class. His performance was outstanding. He sucessfully made 8 of the 9 lifts during the meet. He was in ninth place going into the last event and was able to vault all the way up to 5th place and earn a medal. Allan is the 5th strongest high school student from 6man through 2a in the 165lb. weight class in the state of Texas. We are extremely proud of Alan and very happy for him. He is a very hard worker and a fine young man. He will be greatly missed next year.
