Gary & Pat Estep were here this week spending a lot of time with Skinny Estep. Clyde (Skinny) Estep will celebrate his 92nd birthday on July 29.

While here Pat was able to visit with her two sisters, Penny McCullough of Pontotoc and Helen Brister of San Antonio. They also visited with Roddy and Barbara Maddox.

There was a surprise 18th birthday party for Xazier Monroe at the Children’s Home gym last Friday night. There were lots of food, fun and games.

Yvette Torres is attending an Education in Action History camp in Houston this week and several men from Cherokee are attending Fire School in College Station this week.

Doug and Cyndi Suggs attended the Old Time Gospel Singing in Llano at the high school last Saturday night. The Embers Quartet were there.

The Duggans and Morrisons are in Fort Davis for a family reunion.

Michelle Murray’s grandfather passed away in San Antonio last week.

Robert and Vickie Baugh’s children, Gunner and Brissa, are spending time with grandparents in Temple.

Robert and Sue Broyles attended the Bend’s Methodist Church Campground annual fish fry. Bill and Betty White from Cherokee also attended.

Tracy and Kendall Johnson and Lacy Wagner attended Ashton Altizer’s birthday party at the Women’s Culture Club in Llano. They had a fashion show. It was reported that all the girls looked beautiful.

Sue Rhoades and Tracy Johnson spent the weekend in Austin.

Francis Louise Bode was buried in the Cherokee Cemetery last Saturday.
