SAN SABA–Receipts totaled 2272 head for the week. The market was very active with stocker steers selling $3 to $4 higher and stocker heifers steady to $1 higher. Feeder steers and heifers sold steady on a limited offering. The packer bulls were $1 to $2 higher with the top bull weighing 2195 lbs. and bringing $110. Packer cows were also $1 to $2 higher with the top cow at 1215 lbs @ $92.50. Demand was strong on all pairs with the better younger pairs ranging from $1750 up to $2725. Bred cows were active with the better short bred to long bred cows bringing from $1400 up to $1900. Short bred to long bred heifers sold from $1400 up to $1925 on a limited offering.
