Dear Editor:I dislike very much the frequent expression often heard in reference to the U.S. Postal Service as, "Snail Mail."Sure, it's not Western Union, E-Mail, or texting. Our postal service has a noble history dating back to our first Post Master General, Benjamin Franklin, in our English Colonial days.I am proud to have been an employee of the U.S. Postal Department for 20 years, before entering the teaching profession, for 22 years, in my forties. As a walking postman, I had excellent health and low blood pressure. As a teacher I soon developed hypertension and have been on medication for it for 46 years.God bless the Postal Service and the employees of it that serve us faithfully.Kenneth E. DrewsSan Saba, TX
