Sheriff's Office makes narcotics arrest

On Wednesday the 7th of March, Gabriel Matthew Johnson of San Saba was arrested for narcotics charges here in San Saba. Deputies Wilkerson and Stiles were working interdiction when they contacted Johnson and during the investigation illegal narcotics were discovered. Johnson was arrested and transported to the county jail where he was booked in on multiple narcotics charges. Johnson was charged with Possession of Marijuana < 2 ounces and Possession of a Controlled Substance (Methamphetamine) < 1 gram. Sheriff Brown stated that the deputies did a good job and that the Sheriff's Office will continue to focus on the narcotics situation here in this county and will focus all our resources on the problem.
