County Commissioners hold regular meeting

The San Saba County Commissioners Court was held on Tuesday, February 28th at 9 a.m. in the County Judge’s Chambers. County Judge, Byron Theodosis called the meeting to order and welcomed everyone to the Court. Commissioner Kenley Kroll gave the invocation followed by everyone joining for the pledges to the American and Texas flags.County Sheriff, Allen Brown, reported that the plumbing problem at the jail is near completion with the help of city and commissioner workers; there are 8 prisoners in the county jail and 6 housed out of county.The following items were discussed and action taken by the Court:1. Approved a Conservation Contract in Precinct 3.2. Discussed the Texas Historical Commission Emergency Funds Award.3. Approved the Accounts Payables presented by County Treasurer, Gayla Hawkins.4. The next Commissioners Court will be Monday, March 12th at 9 a.m.Judge Theodosis adjourned the Court at 9:25 a.m. Attending the Court were: County Judge, Byron Theodosis; Administrative Secretary, Cathi Miles; County Sheriff, Allen Brown; County Commissioners, Pat Pool, Kenley Kroll, Rickey Lusty, Otis Judkins; County Clerk, Kim Wells; County Treasurer, Gayla Hawkins; Chief Deputy, Bill Price; County Coordinator, Marsha Hardy; Justice of the Peace Judge, Les Dawson; San Saba News & Star Reporter, Alice Smith.
