Needle Art and Quilt Show, Raffle and Bake Sale

The Needle Art and Quilt Show will be held on Friday and Sat-urday, March 2nd and 3rd from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. at the Lampasas County Courthouse, downtown Lampasas. Admission is $5 for adults and $3 for children under 12. A bake sale will be held at the Keystone Square Museum, 303 South Western Street, between 2nd and 3rd Streets. Proceeds from the Needle Art and Quilt Show, the raffle and bake sale benefit the Keystone Square Museum, a non-profit organization.Every year, items are donated by talented needle artisans and quilters for the Lampasas Needle Art and Quilt Show raffle. This year, once again, three beautiful items have been donated for raffle to raise money for the Keystone Square Museum.The lovely red and white afghan is done in the "Lacy Scallops" pattern. Perfect for those blustery days when you curl up with a good book.We have a Texas Quilt Kit which has everything you need to make a quilt in a basket. A top ready to embroider and batting and lining to finish the quilt. The kit also contains supplies needed to complete this work of art.The quilt included in the raffle is done in a small square pattern, using a variety of fabrics. The lining also reflects the practice of using "whatever is available", as several fabrics were used to complete the back. A delightful quilt, sure to stir memories.All three items are on view at The Word Christian Book Store, 515 E. 3rd Street, just across from the Lampasas County Courthouse, downtown Lampasas. They will move to the courthouse to be on view during the Needle Art and Quilt Show, March 2nd and 3rd.A raffle drawing will be held on Saturday, March 3 at 3:30 p.m. Please call the Keystone Square Museum at 512-556-2224 for drawing results.Raffle tickets are $1 each or 6 for $5.
