Two arrested for selling methamphetamine

Matthew Joe Lopez and Mariah Cromeans, both currently of San Saba were arrested on Friday the 24th and charged with Possession of a Controlled substance (methamphetamine) > one gram but < four grams with intent to deliver. Sheriff Brown stated that while investigating a disturbance reported by management at the Executive Inn, the two suspects were located inside the hotel room and as a result of the investigation; both were arrested and charged with the selling of methamphetamine. Sheriff Brown also stated that he wanted to thank Chief Ray Riggs, Steve Burnett, the adult probation officer for San Saba County and San Saba County Jail Administrator Brenda Willis, for their assistance in the investigation and arrest of these two individuals. Sheriff Brown also went on to thank all the managers and the owners of the Executive Inn for their assistance in keeping illegal narcotics out of our county.
