Stephanie Bowden Russell from Austin visited Flora Bowden last Friday. She was on her way to San Saba to watch the football game. Her brother, Brad Bowden is the head coach for Grape Creek.

Roger Wisdom had surgery at the Heart Hospital in Austin last week. He will be going back in a month for some more surgery. Please keep this sweet family on your prayer list.

Danny and Janiece Duggan have a new hobby. Danny bought a motorcycle. They just completed a course on riding that motor cycle. You might see them out on the highway soon.

Kandis Dobbs, Genie Vaughn, Cyndi Suggs and several girls from the Cherokee Church of Christ attended a Girls Conference in Abilene over the weekend.

Several of the kids in Cherokee are attending special “College Days” at some of the colleges. Some went to Lubbock Christian University and others went to Tarleton State.

Jody and Kathryn Simmons, Jerry Randolph and Maria Perry took the CIA kids from the Baptist Church to Eventide Nursing Home to visit last Saturday. The kids had made the patients gifts. Patients from Cherokee are Skinny and Beth Estep, Mance Randolph, Pearlie Walters, Beatrice Berry and Albert Hiilsmeier.

Roddy Maddox had day surgery at Fredericksburg last Friday.

Sam Center broke his arm last week.

Michael Randolph went to the UT-Texas Tech football game last Saturday with nephews, Coby and Kevin Randolph.
