The JV boys basketball team finished their season on Monday February 13th. The boys hosted Comanche, and won that game by the score of 51-33. Scoring for the Dillos: Garrett Welch (9), Kolton Ellis (5), Luis Vega (8), Isaac Zepeda (5), Kelton Brown (14), Joe Lindsey (2), Caelob Hardman (1) and Dallas Caldwell (1).As we move straight into all the spring sports, I just wanted to give a brief re-cap of our JV basketball season. Our JV team really had a good season, finishing with an overall record of 20-5, and tied for first place in our district. Obviously there are no playoffs or gold ball for JV teams, but 20 wins and winning district were two of our team goals as we went through this season, and they were able to accomplish both of those. This group of kids worked hard, played hard and were fun to be around!Even the few games we were outscored, I really don’t think we were ever out worked or out hustled! Thank you guys for all your hard work and dedication this season
