Fun time at Cherokee High School planned

The San Saba Sheriff's Office will be challenging the Cherokee ISD staff Friday night, February 17th at 6:30 p.m. in a basketball game at the Cherokee Gym to benefit the Athletic Booster Club.The sheriff's deputies and jailer/dispatchers will put together a squad and hope to make a game of it.Sheriff Brown stated, "I am proud of my staff and the Cherokee ISD staff who are working together for a good cause, and we look forward to beating them soundly." Sheriff Brown also went on to state that there would be additional medical staff and lots of oxygen on hand for those playing on the Sheriff's office team. We hope the community will all come out and get involved and support the booster club.The cost of admission is $2.00 for students and $4.00 for adults and if you wish to make a donation you can do so. There will also be a concession stand that evening as well and all the proceeds will go toward the athletic booster club.
