The JV boys basketball team will have finished their season by the time of this printing. This past week the JV boys had a good week, winning both their district ballgames on the road. On Tuesday evening, February 7th our boy’s teams traveled to Coleman to take on the Bluecats. The last meeting with Coleman was one of our JV teams better outings. This time around was another good showing for the young Dillos. San Saba won this game by the score of 47-27. Scoring for the Dillos: Garrett Welch (9), Kolton Ellis (4), Luis Vega (10), Isaac Zepeda (14), Kelton Brown (4), Caelob Hardman (4), and Dallas Caldwell (2). On Friday February 10th our teams traveled to Hico. The results were much like the first game with San Saba winning by the score of 39-16. Scoring for the Dillos: Welch (8), Ellis (2), Vega (8), Cosme Diaz (4), Zepeda (5), Brown (4), Joe Lindsey (1), Hardman (5), and Emiliano Zapata (2).
