Horses change lives. They give our young people confidence and self esteem. They provide peace and tranquility to troubled souls- they give us hope! The Mustang Heritage Foundation’s Youth Employment Program has found its way to San Saba, Texas. Falyn Rainwater is one of the newest members along with the rest of her equine class. Falyn will be taking part in the 12-week work-from-school program. Falyn Rainwater is working with the Mustang Heritage Foundation’s Youth Employment Program in hopes of saving the mustang population by researching about all of the current issues, and ways that the public can get involved to help. Falyn Rainwater is the 18-year-old daughter of Dale Rainwater and Jenifer Rainwater. She is currently a senior at San Saba High School where she is active in the National Honors Society and science UIL team. Falyn has always been passionate about horses. She has been riding horses since she was 2 and competed in rodeos in her younger years. She hopes to gain more knowledge about America’s wild horses through the Mustang Heritage Foundation and to share that knowledge with others throughout the community.“I was excited to learn that I could be a part of a program to help save America’s wild horses. I have always been passionate about horses, and I do not want the mustang population to diminish. I hope that I can fill the public with as much eagerness to save the mustang population, and can at least spread the word about ways that the public can help.” --Falyn RainwaterAbout the Mustang Heritage FoundationThe mission of the Mustang Heritage Foundation is to raise awareness of the American Mustang and to increase Mustang adoptions across the country.
