She would like to learn more about these wild horses of America and share her knowledge, through the Mustang Heritage Foundation’s Youth Employment Program.“Mustangs are beautiful wild horses that are a part of American history. The population of their species has declined throughout the years. I want to tell more people about these majestic animals and the problems they are facing. Through the Mustang Heritage Foundation I want to encourage people to adopt these Mustangs. These wild horses have been a big part of American history, and we should help keep it that way by protecting these beautiful animals.” ~ Erin EdmondsonAbout the Mustang Heritage FoundationThe mission of the Mustang Heritage Foundation is to raise awareness of the American Mustang and to increase Mustang adoptions across the country. The Mustang Heritage Foundation created the Youth Employment Program (with funding provided by the Bureau of Land Management’s Environmental Education division) and other youth programs to help showcase the recognized value of Mustangs and to give youth a place to connect to America’s equine legends - the Mustang. Since 2007, the Foundation’s adoption programs have been responsible for nearly 3,000 adoptions of trained Mustangs.
