Maxine S. Miffleton

Maxine S. Miffleton 87, of San Saba passed away on Monday, February 13, 2012. Maxine was born on January 25, 1925 to John and Eula Ann Smith. Maxine was a business owner and in retail sales. Maxine was a lifelong member of the San Saba Garden Club and a honorary Master Gardener. Maxine served as a member of the San Saba City Council for four terms. Maxine was a lifetime member of the San Saba’s First Baptist Church Bereavement team for many years. Maxine is survived by her sons, Ronnie and Jo McBride of San Saba, Charles Ed Miffleton and Karen of New Braunfles. Grandchildren, Chris McBride, Charlie Miffleton, Joe Miffleton. Great grandchildren, David McBride, Ashlee McBride, Amber McBride. Brother, John Moody Smith Jr.; Sister in law, Cornie Meador of Houston. Maxine was preceded in death by her husband, Charles C. Miffleton; parents, John and Eula Ann Smith; son, Max Miffleton; two grandchildren, David McBride and Patrick McBride. Visitation will be held on Thursday, February 16, 2012 from 6:00 – 8:00 P.M. at San Saba’s First Baptist Church. Funeral services will be on Friday, February 17, 2012 at San Saba’s First Baptist Church at 10:00 A.M. with Rev. Sam Crosby officiating. Interment, San Saba Cemetery.
