Maldon Norris 81, of San Saba passed away on Sunday February12, 2012. Maldon was born on June 26, 1930 to Elmer and Alice Norris. Maldon was a rancher and a lifetime resident of San Saba County. Maldon was a Deacon and a member of San Saba’s First Baptist Church. He was also a longtime member of The Property Owners Association of San Saba County. Maldon served his country in the United States Army. Maldon is survived by his wife, Ernestine Norris of San Saba; sons, Dwayne Norris and wife, Toni of Rochelle; Rodney Norris of San Saba; daughter, Debra Berryhill and husband, Robert of Smithville; grandchildren, David Norris, Daniel Norris, Melissa Gibson, Raeven Alonzo, John Norris, Robbie Berryhill, Matthew Berryhill, Loren Berryhill and twelve great grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his parents and two brothers, Delbert Norris and Robert Norris. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, February 15, 2012 from 1:00 – 2:00 P.M. at San Saba’s First Baptist Church. Funeral services will be on Wednesday, February 15, 2012 at 2:00 P.M. at San Saba’s First Baptist Church with Rev. Sam Crosby officiating. Interment will be at Rough Creek Cemetery.In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to San Saba’s First Baptist Church.Arrangements under the Direction of Blaylock Funeral Chapel, 1205 S.
