Jeanette Lee Lewis, 67 of Llano, Texas passed away Thursday, February 9, 2012. She was born April 18, 1944 to Russell Jones and Dorothy Lee (Ivey) Jones in Orange, California. Jeanette married Glenn Lewis January 17, 1980 in Llano, Texas. Mrs. Lewis worked as an abstractor for Moursund Law offices and was a member of the First Baptist Church in Mason, Texas since 1965. She was preceded in death by her parents, Russell Jones in 1985 and Dorothy Lee Jones in 2011.Survivors include her husband, Glenn Lewis of Llano, Texas; son, Codey Lewis of Llano, Texas; brother, Russell B. Jones of Glen Rose, Texas; sisters, Towanna Gray and husband J.D. of Llano, Texas and Deborah Connors and husband Michael of San Saba, Texas; uncle, Steve Maywald; three cousins, Scooter and Jack Maywald and Dwight Shafee; three grandchildren, Courtney, Clara and Taylor Thompson; numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.Honorary Pallbearers were her many friends in Llano County.Graveside services were held Saturday, February 11, 2012 at 2:00 P.M. at Honey Creek Cemetery with Reverend Jerald Moore officiating.The family requests that memorials be made to the Honey Creek Cemetery Association, 231 County Road 308 A Llano, Texas 78643.Funeral arrangements made under the direction of Waldrope-Hatfield-Hawthorne Funeral Homes, Inc.
