Receipts totaled 3090 head for the week. The market saw another increase this week as the future market reached new record levels. A choice offering was on hand with demand strong as the stocker steers were $10 higher and stocker heifers were also $10 higher. Feeder steers were in strong demand selling $5 higher and heifers were $3 higher. Packer cows were $3 higher and bulls were $4 higher up to $100.00. Pairs and bred cows were in strong demand. English Champion was Mazurek Land & Cattle, Sidney and Reserve was Roddy Maddox, Cherokee. Exotic Champion was Don Burnham, San Saba and Reserve was James Henderson, Austin.
