The 2012 Kick Off Dinner for the San Saba County Relay for Life benefitting the American Cancer Society was held on February 2 at the Church of Christ's Fellowship Hall. There was representation from Cherokee, San Saba, and Richland Springs. The theme, "Cruising for a Cure for Cancer... Get On Board" was approved.
