Revelation 2:10b: “Be faithful, even to the point of death, and I will give you the crown of life.” It’s far too easy to grow weary, give in, and drift with the prevailing currents. But the only way for you and me to finish strong is to be relentless in our faith. What does it mean to be relentless? The term describes an attitude or posture that is resolute, persistent, and unyielding. To relent is to become more lenient, to slacken, or even to concede. Whether for the short-term or the long-term, a relentless heart is in it to finish according to the desired end. Nothing will deter him or her from the completed goal. The relentless believer, committed in every way to finishing well, is a history maker in the truest sense and will forever be known by heaven as one who warrants the Master’s hearty “Well done.”
