The descendants of W.W. Hibler met July 12, 2008 for their annual family reunion at the Church of Christ Fellowship Building.

There were over 50 people there. They all enjoyed a wonderful time visiting and taking pictures, as well as dining on the great potluck dinner.

Those attending from the San Saba area were: Alvis and Pauline Longley; Travis Shaw, Nadine Maultsby, Roy Maultsby, Richard Maultsby, Sadie Coleman, Dorin and Angie Goudrean; Michelle Daniels, and Dallas and Cutter; Taylor and Leola Hamrick; Ann Bearden, Juanita Longley, James, Jeanne, and Kaylee Melton; Larry and Shirley Hibler; T.J. and Micah Hibler; Casey, Jr. and Frances Hibler; Maxine Robbins, Hunter and Mary Hibler; and Scotty and Tayler Hibler.

From out of town, those attending were: Clyde and Doris Lusty from Comfort; Cotton and Cristine Frizzell from Sterling City; Chris, Gene Ann, and Ashley Frizzell from Granbury; Shirley Schneider from San Antonio; Kenneth and Charlotte Longley, and David Longley from Abilene; Richard, Michelle, Wayde, and Catherine Longley from College Station; Slade, Kari, Heather, Megan, and Vallie Hibler from Belton;and Brittany Ellis from Troy, with her friend, Sydney, from Academy.

Next year, our reunion will be the second Saturday of July. This year, it was on the late Chris Hibler's birthday. He was a son of William Westfall Hibler.
