Online food handler certification through LCHEC

The Lampasas County Higher Education Center (LCHEC) in partnership with DSB WorldWide is offering an online certification course that will enable you to gain your State of Texas Accredited Food Handler Permit online.The food handler course will take you through the fundamentals of food safety and the specific training for bare hand contact of ready-to-eat food rules.This Food Handler certification will also work for your business. We can ensure that you employees will be properly licensed with our State Accredited Food Handler course. This certification course is for any food service employee who needs to obtain a permit in order to work in a retail food establishment or for any individual who desires training. This course is State of Texas accredited and has been designed for those who want the best training in the least amount of time. The course is online 24/7 and self-paced. The total cost to take this course is $9.00.Once the course is successfully completed, you will be able to print immediately a certificate for your records. These certificates must be kept on file at your place of employment. Please remember that although the license is valid throughout the state of Texas, you may be required to transfer or register the permit with your local health department.
