Dorianne McGregor Land, 70, of Vendor, Arkansas, died Friday, December 16, 2011 at her home. A memorial service was held on Wednesday, December 21, at the Newton County Baptist Church in Piercetown.The daughter of Taylor Gibbons and Lucy Maxine Doran McGregor was born December 30, 1940, in San Saba, Texas. Dorianne was a cosmetology instructor for 25 years. She was an active member of her church, Newton County Baptist Church. She also loved her 42 Club, a domino club.Dorianne's parents preceded her in death.Survivors include a son, Bruce Taylor Land, of Grand Prairie, Texas; two daughters, Quinnell Land, of Mt. Judea and Marthann "Marty" Land, of Watauga, Texas; ex-husband, Ross Land of Arlington, Texas; a brother, Forrest McGregor, of San Saba, Texas; a sister, Mary Jo Weldon, of Lake Fork, Texas; a granddaughter, Pearl Ann Harrison: and numerous cousins, nieces and nephews. Interment will be in the Richland Springs Cemetery at a later date.
