Bend Chappel EE Christmas Party

The annual Christmas Party of the Bend-Chappel County Extension Education Club was held at the Bend Community Center on Monday, December 12. The party was attended by members and guests. A brief business meeting was held to announce the club’s ribbon winners in the Pecan Food Show which included Winnie Lou McCoury and Phyllis Poehlmann. Delicious food was enjoyed by all as well as the Chinese gift exchange which brought much laughter. The next meeting will be held at the Bend Methodist Church on Monday, January 9 at 2:00 p.m. The program will be “Made in the U.S.A.” to be presented by Mary Jane Dennis. Members are asked to bring a covered dish or finger food.One of the primary purposes of the EE Clubs is to develop in women and girls, a new enjoyment and satisfaction in the home and environment and more happiness in community life. Anyone interested in joining is always welcome. Information can be obtained through the County Extension Agent’s office at the Courthouse.
