I had a chance to find a quiet time to think and reflect this Christmas. I tried to review this year and some of the events. In many ways last year was good because we had very little sickness and several times our family was able to get together. Many of our family moved closer to God and we also have a new grandson. On the other hand we had one of the most severe droughts since 1950 and we also had some close friends pass away. We saw much unrest and turmoil in our country and where Christian values and beliefs are being shunned or shut out. We are also seeing where the numbers are growing where people do not believe in God. We constantly hear “Peace Peace” but where is the peace with more and more wars and killings. There is also a large worldwide movement where millions and millions say they love God but they deny Jesus Christ and are killing many that believe in Him and they think they are doing God a favor, (John 15:18-23& 16:1-4)). Guess what, these things were predicted over 2000 years ago and it is going to get worse but God will take care of those trusting in Christ, (John 17:22& 16:33). He has wonderful plans for us and a wonderful future, (Jeremiah 29:11, 2 Timothy 4:8&18). See you in Church next Sunday.
