2 TIMOTHY 3:1-5 “ This know also, that in the last days perilous times will come. For men shall be lovers of their own selves; covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy; without natural affection; truce breakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good. Traitors, heady, high-minded, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of GOD, (having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof from such turn away.)” When I read this great message in my Bible study, I simply could not ignore it, and I decided to use it for a Biblical Gem. This will amount to an unusual writing, because I will not offer but little personal comment. Although I feel I could write several pages on this scripture and never exhaust its message to the people of today; and it would all be worthwhile to give a much needed study. But all I will ask is for you to read this GOD given message from your own Bible; then spend a little time to determine how much of this warning we are seeing today. Carefully read each warning and it will definitely prove to you that GOD knows the future just as well as the past, and HE has been good enough to give HIS faithful, TIMOTHY what we should be seeing right now. We will not see a warning that is not being sinfully practiced in our society of flesh. If you do read it and study it, you will turn to GOD with respect and praise that is greatly over due. A sincere Christian attitude will lead you to turn to GOD with respect and praise that will show you GOD’S ways are never wrong but ever always right.
