Receipts totaled 2068 head for the week. The market was active and demand strong as prices remained steady after the past month’s big increases. The stocker and feeder steers all sold steady with several of the steer calves selling over $2.00/lb up to $2.25/lb. Packer cows were $3 higher and bulls $4 higher. Bred cows and pairs were $50-$100 higher. There will be no sales the next two weeks in observance of the Christmas season.
