The Eta Omicron Chapter of Delta Kappa Gamma International met for a Christmas Brunch in the home of Carolyn Butts on Saturday, December 3, 2011. Eight members and three guests were present. Special guests were Alpha State President, Joanne Davis, Area VII Coordinator, Barbara Rountree, and travel buddy, Sheila Lawson from Marlin.Members assembled goodie-bags with items they had provided for seven reserve/life members who are no longer able to attend meetings. After the group enjoyed the brunch provided, they played Chinese Gift Exchange around the beautifully decorated tree in Mrs. Butts' living room.Members attending the meeting from Lampasas, San Saba, Lometa, and Richland Springs were President, Julia Philips; 1st Vice President, Mrs. Butts; 2nd Vice President, Virginia Hamilton; Secretary, LaVada McCoury; Treasurer, Lisa Larremore; Parliamentarian, June Davis; Ceremonials Chairman, Ruth Martin and Archieves Chairman, Mikie Bishop.
