Matthew 24:21-22 "For then shall be great tribulation, since as was not since the beginning of the world to this time, no, nor ever shall be. And except those days should be shortened; there should no flesh be saved."The Bible was written a long time ago to warn of the many world troubles we are seeing right now. Agreement is becoming a reality among many, that we are living in the latter days as plainly described to happen like the world is experiencing at this time. And I regret to advise to your Bible, it is going to get worse, much worse. Many will get hungry and serious crimes will multiply, all because the world is turning from God's ways and greedily seeking pleasure and treasure until respect, love, and praise for God is seldom seen. This is hurting God, but He will never force people to give priority to His ways, even though He sent His only begotten Son to suffer crucifixion just to show how He wants this flesh life to be lived. But if sins become wicked enough to anger God, He has often punished without mercy and please know He can do that again. Then ask yourself this question, how close are our sins from angering Him now? All this is mentioned for one reason, When world troubles become terrible enough to cause total confusion, Antichrist will be permitted to come and even bring a temporary peace. It will be enough to deceive the majority, and all will worship him whose names are not written in the Lamb's Book of Life. The only names that will be found there are the ones the Holy Spirit of God will write. And friends please believe when sins become evident enough to anger God, our text will be seen. Read it again and know it will be the most terrible thing that will ever happen in the world. It will be the greatly feared tribulation your Bible warns of. Luke 10:18 "And Jesus said unto them, I beheld Satan as lightening falls from Heaven." Now when Satan as Antichrist comes as our text describes, it will not be something taking place in a dark corner. It will be as bright and clear as lightening, and it will capture the attention of all people on earth. He will have power to deceive the vast majority. Your Bible reads, "He will make war against the saints and will overcome them." This is a needed message for all people. Study it and make sure you have enough faith in Jesus Christ to be your Savior which is necessary for your name to be written in His book and give you victory.
